Noloop Pet Nutrition Center As a graduate of the University of Minnesota's Animal Science program, my life has always been closely intertwined
with furry companions. However, my true mission began with the "healing journey" of my beloved canine, Elfin.
Elfin, my dearest dog, was diagnosed with hereditary hyperlipidemia at the age of four. The primary veterinarian,
Dr. Claps, advised Elfin to maintain a lifelong low-fat diet, leading me to embark on a two-month experiment with
prescription low-fat food. However, Elfin's reaction made me realize that animals have their own unique taste buds
and preferences.
After switching to the low-fat prescription food, Elfin showed reluctance at every meal, taking a long time to finish.
Even more unsettling, it began to secretly rummage through the trash, which was completely out of character.
After in-depth discussions with the veterinarian, we came to an unexpected yet logical conclusion: dogs can also
be picky eaters and dislike food that feels like "medicine"!
The low-fat prescription food had too little meat content to satisfy Elfin's natural craving for it. Not only did it fail
to address its hyperlipidemia issue, but it could also lead to the development of food aversions. At that point, I
decided to abandon my long-held belief in prescription food and create a more beneficial and fulfilling future for
pets with chronic conditions.
So, I sold the table I had used for ten years and returned to China with Elfin. Together with Iris and Danniel, who
have backgrounds in animal science, we founded China's first pet nutrition center - NPNC. Our vision is to develop
tailored pet diets that meet specific nutritional needs while also satisfying their taste buds, especially for pets like
Elfin.
NPNC became our base for exploration, research, and innovation. We infused all our research findings into China's
first functional raw food brand - Noloop, and carefully designed a series of high-quality raw food formulas to
provide modern pets with more professional and scientifically sound nutritional choices.
Noloop means "No Loop, No Monotony," and our goal is to break the monotony of pets living under a single
standardized diet and provide a more diverse, customized, and nutritionally comprehensive high-quality raw food
for pets with different health needs.
